Financial Support

Extending opportunities for all pupils.

We recognise that some forms of monetary support can make a Cumnor House education more accessible and have detailed below our approach to Early Years Funding and bursaries.

We also accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare. Our Admissions Team will be able to talk you through how to set this up.

EARLY YEARS FUNDING

Funding available for Kindergarten & Pre-School, and Reception pupils.

The 15 hours Universal Early Years Funding is available to all children from the term after their third birthday up until the term in which they turn 5 years old.

We offer the funding to Cumnor House Kindergarten & Pre-School and Reception pupils in funded sessions per day between 8:00am-1:00pm with the maximum claim of 15 hours per week.

To receive the funding, each academic year, you must return the funding form along with supporting documentation (proof of your address and a copy of your child’s birth certificate).

In addition, from April 2024, the Government has indicated that childcare providers will be able to receive Nursery Grant Funding for eligible 2 year olds if parents meet the criteria. It is our intention to offer this funding to eligible families at Cumnor House.

As you begin your admissions process with us, our team will advise you on the next steps and how to set this up.

BURSARIES

Means-tested bursary support.

Due to the age of our children, we do not currently offer a Scholarship Programme for entry to Cumnor House School. However, we recognise that in cases of financial hardship, discounted fees may be of assistance. Our parent company, Cognita Schools, offers the opportunity to apply for a means-tested bursary.

Should you wish to enter into this process, please contact our Admissions Team when you make your enquiry who will refer you to our Business Manager to discuss the process.
