School Fees 2024/2025
Cumnor House School provides a unique, values-led experience, bridging co-ed and single-sex education with its extraordinary Early Years and school sites. Our excellent learning locations help ensure that our students benefit from a wide range of facilities, sports, arts and extra-curricular opportunities, alongside a robust academic curriculum that consistently leads to offers and scholarships at some of the UK's leading senior schools.
We have transparent fees with different payment options available. The tables below clearly show what is and isn’t included in our fee structures.
Although we charge fees termly there is an option to pay monthly via direct debit with School Fee Plan.

What's not included?
KINDERGARTEN & PRE-SCHOOL FEES | SEPTEMBER 2024 - AUGUST 2025
At both of our Kindergarten & Pre-Schools we welcome boys and girls from the age of two years old.
We have one 51-week Kindergarten & Pre-School located on Pampisford Road, South Croydon on our outstanding playing fields, with fees paid monthly.
Our second Kindergarten & Pre-School is located on the tree-lined, gated community of the Webb Estate in Purley. This site is shared with the Reception children and is open during term-time in line with our Girls’ and Boys’ Schools. Fees at Purley are paid termly.
Included within your fees: lunch and snacks (a tea-time snack is offered to children staying beyond 3pm, either in the tea-time club or as part of the year-round provision). Nappies, where applicable, are also included in the fees.
All Nursery fees shown below are exempt from VAT. The Government has indicated that Nursery Fees will continue to be exempt from VAT from 1st January 2025, when independent schools will be required to charge VAT on School Fees from Reception upwards.

Payments
Key information on making payments:
Fees are due in full by direct debit on or before the first day of each term.
New: 15 hours Childcare Entitlements for Working Parents of 2 year olds. From April 2024, the Government has indicated that childcare providers will be able to receive Nursery Grant Funding for children from the age of 2 years, if parents meet the eligibility criteria. It is our intention to offer this to eligible families at Cumnor House. As you begin your admissions process with us, our team will advise you on the next steps and how to set this up.
15 hours Funding for 3-4 years olds. Cumnor House is registered to receive Nursery Grant Funding for all children aged 3-4 years. Our Admissions and Finance teams will advise you on everything you need to do to set this up.
We accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare. Our Admissions Team will be able to talk you through how to set this up.
Payments may be made by the School Fee Plan (SFP).
If an instalment plan is in place, you must adhere to the agreed timing, frequency and method of payment.
One term’s written notice is required before the removal of a child, or in the case of year-round nursery place, the notice period is 3 months. A term’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice. This must be sent to the Head of School.
A full term’s notice of all fee increases is given by the end of the Spring Term.
Sibling discounts:
5% discount for one sibling
10% discount for an additional sibling
15% discount for any further siblings

Home to school transport
Our school transport runs to our Girls' School and Boys' School every day during term-time, with fees dependent upon the travel band within which your child's daily journey falls.
We operate three school buses that run daily serving Clapham South, Tooting Bec, Streatham, Upper Norwood and Caterham, Sanderstead, Hamsey Green, Warlingham & Purley.
Pricing is based on full-time travel commitments and may be selected as either one-way or a full return service.

International student fees
International students key information:
To secure a place, a terms worth of fees is required as a deposit. This is refundable when your child leaves school.
International students will be asked to pay the full year of tuition fees upfront.
